        4. Click-collector: discussed and couple of meetings. The partners are still at the beginning of this, but they don’t feel they have the necessary knowledge. The suggestion is made that the Swedish partner can use moodle. They have made a presentation about their concerns, and will show this during the next teachers meeting on Thursday

    1. Preparing the meeting
    2. Ellen had contacted the swedish school and planned to do something together. She had an accident, Sebastian has left the school. Both teachers had fallen out, so Ralf worked with his students on moodle. But this isn’t finished yet, but Ralf plans on working hard. Ramona maybe will be a member of the team. They have a new head of department, but they are not aware of the plans of this person.
  2. What are your concerns
    1. A number of partners feel that it is difficult to find time to work on the project because this is an “extra”
    2. The partner from Kinna wonders if it is necessary to have lessons that can be directly used in lessons. It is noted that some work can be seen as an inspiration.

    2. Nereto 12/03-16/03 was original date, but the Merksem partner proposes to move it to 19/03-23/03
    3. Multiplier event in Antwerp: planned fot the 14/05 -18/05. Guy proposes to come from sa 05/05-wo 09/05. Ennio proposes to prepare the work at home and have a short multiplier event. The matter is adjourned to Thursday

    3. E-twinning: Ennio proposes to make a site on etwinning to collect the material. A link on the e-twinning to the website will be sufficient for the European commission.

    1. Thursday: One workshop from Neroto about click advisor, one workshop about storybird, one workshop about clickinstructor
    2. Certificate of attendance: the program must be included and an activity for every day must be included to be in compliance.

 

Meeting 11/05/2017

  1. Evaluation questions
    1. Have the plans been followed and if not, why not?
      1. The partners agree that the plans have been followed
    2. How did the students complete the tasks set for them?
      1. Students cooperated very well during workshops, they carried out the assignements. For instance the interviews were conducted in a professional way.
    3. What skills are being/have been developed at this stage?
      1. Social skills have been developed in an international environment. They students have developed some jobs skills: for instance they could explain the storybird program to the teachers at home. Quizlet will be used by the students themselves. It is noted that students need to be instructed to use any of the tools. In a whole the students became more self confident in using educational tools. Language skills are also being developed. They used technology to increase language skills by for instance by using their mobile phones to lookup words. They also needed to communicate there problems and concerns to the host families. Organizitional skills are also developed. Other language, like German and Italian are developed on the side.
    4. Are the means of communication used appropriately and efficiently? Do we understand each other? All the partners respond positively to this question. The Swedish partner notes that the emailing was sometimes confusing, so there should be a single point of contact.
    5. Are the teachers completing their tasks and are they working together?
      1. All the partner respond positively to this question.
    6. To what extent is the whole school involved in the project (other teachers, other students, organisations for inclusive learning)?
      1. It is difficult to find theachers to work with projects like this because it is extra work. We will involve more people because will choose other subjects to address.
    7. Has there been an increase in students’ and teachers’ ICT skills?
      1. Offcourse because of the workshops and other things.
    8. Was the planned end-product created? Have the end results been achieved?
      1. The end product for this meeting would be click instructor. The moodle site is active and the content is collected, so the only thing to do is put the content on the moodle. The clickadvisor project is live and on the website. The clickcollector part is being debated by the Swedish team. They are still trying to find a suitable platform. It is suggested to create a google site which will be linked from the mobyclick.eu. In the beginning the lessons could be sent to the Swedish team and they put them online in the right format. They also talked about categorizing the lessons, so it will be easier to find a lessons. The layout will have a short introduction to the lesson, a purpose, a target group, aids you need for the lesson. Maybe also an evaluation from the teacher who created the lesson.
    9. Which other and/or unexpected results did the project have?
      1. Awareness that computer systems differ between countries because of legislation. A measurement should be implemented to know what is available.
      2. The company visit to Kotziol is mentioned: it creates a link between company world and education.
    10. Planning ahead (proposals, suggestions and wishes for Antwerp meeting)
      1. Suggestions for the Antwerp meeting: a technical part and an educational part could be provided. Ennio suggested to use Edmodo, a free, social learning platform to make the distance learning a success. It is integrated with office 365, gsuite, edpuzzle. Niclas suggest to make a video lessons. We would have the students located at different locations.
    11. TEL: determine the subjects for period May 2017 – October 2017
      1. The Swedish team suggests to do something with humanities: religion, media, history, filosophy, social science, but also subjects like pollution can be integrated. Lessons about ecology can be easily teached in the different. Chemistry can also be about beer and wine. The general subject could be bio-technology. The party agrees on ecology.
      2. In Antwerp we will do project work in the morning and other things in the afternoon
      3. The project will be Monday to Friday, while the first and last day will be reserved for travelling.
